Get Data / Sources Greyed Out in PBI Desktop

Hello!

I have a new installation of PBI Desktop, which is connected to PBI Service.   When I start a new report, and select a datasource from our Power BI Service instance, I can no longer add additional data sources.

In this case, I was interested in pulling data from our data source, as well as Google Analytics, to layer some information utilizing both sources.

Does anyone know why the selection of the data source would block off the ability to select more sources?   Is this a setting that could be updated somewhere on our service installation?

Thanks, I appreciate any help you can throw my way.

hi, @erampley

When you use power bi desktop connect to PBI Service, you are use "Live connect" model. you could only connect only one model at once. if you want to get multiple data sources, you need to use "import" to get data.
