Hi! I am new to PowerBI. I hope you can help me on my inquiry.
I need to generate a report that will show all active users depending on the date selected. Active users are users that have logged in the system atleast within 48 hours.
I have created a date slicer using the column date [Date First Logged In]. Problem is i need to show the dates for the last 3 months. What is only shown are the 3 dates recorded in DateFirstLoggedIn. Does this mean i have to create a new column just to show all the dates for the last 3 months?
I am pasting what I have done so far. Appreciate any help. Thanks!
hi, @liapot
You may use a relative date slicer and filter in Power BI Desktop
https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/power-bi/visuals/desktop-slicer-filter-date-range
but why in your screenshot Date first Logged in on has four values? could you share some data sample and the expected output. You can upload it to OneDrive or Dropbox and post the link here. Do mask sensitive data before uploading.
Best Regards,
Lin
Yes, you have to create a date column, which contains all the possible dates and ideally, even everything in between.
Also, this column needs to be of the 'date' datatype.
