General question on monthly data vs daily data

Hi everyone,

I have a data set which consists of sales data collected on a monthly basis. This seems to complicate a lot of the DAX in regard to time intelligence functions and I really struggle to get it right.

Could someone pleas guide me a bit on how to deal with this, and if there is any guide, video or other resource that tackles this problem?
