Gauge with dynamic target

Hi,

I have this table:

Captura.PNG

What i want to do (if it´s possible) is to change the column that i use as a  target of the gauge depending of the year i select in a timeline slicer : If i choose a single year (like 2017) it has to look for the value from the column "Programado", and if i choose all the years (in this example 2016, 2017 and 2018) it has look for the value from the column "Programado hoy".

Thank you for the attention (and excuse me for my limited knowledge of english).

Hi @JuanVillabona,

We can not dynamically change the column added to target value of Gauge. But you can create a measure which is dynamically changed based on slicer selection, add this measure to Target Value.

That case, you should create an unrelated extra table (suppose it's named as 'SlicerTable') which lists all available slicer items, like 2016, 2017, 2018 and so on. Add this column to slicer.

Then, the measure formula is similar to:

TargetVal=IF(MAX('SlicerTable'[YearNo])=2017, SUM('SourceTable'[Programado]), SUM('SourceTable'[Programado hoy]) )
