Hi,
I am having two columns with information:
Column A = Non-technical labour (hours)
Column B = Technical labour (hours)
Both fields are formatted as a "Whole Number" in Power Query Editor
({"Technical Labour (hours)", Int64.Type}, {"Non-technical labour (hours)", Int64.Type})
When I put both as Gauges in Power BI Desktop, "Non-technical labour (hours)" shows up as I want it - a simple number, "Technical Labour (hours)" shows up as a $ value (see below).
I have checked and double checked all settings for both gauges in Power BI Desktop and have played with the type in Power Query Editor, but I cannot get "Technical Labour (hours)" to show up a simply a number.
Could anyone please tell me what I am doing wrong here?
Thank you.
Robert

Hi,
Found the answer to my own question. In Power BI Desktop on the "Modelling" tab, while Data Type was "Whole Number" for both fields, the format was "Currency General" for one and "Whole Number" for the other.
Boy that took long to figure out...
Sorry for the bad formatting.
Somehow what I did in the browser did not come across.
Here also the photo again:
