Gateway: User can see chart in apps, but not app workspace

I created a gateway and assigned one user to it for testing puposes.

I then created an app workspace and assigned the same user. He gets an error when opening report and trying to view chart - which comes from a direct query.

However I created another app workspace (which I am the only one in the group) and published it giving this user access and the exact same chart with the same direct query works.

Can someone explain?

I can’t reproduce this issue, could you provide the error he gets when opening report and trying to view chart?

Would you add the member in the app workspace as "Members can only view power bi content" or implement Row Level Security for your dataset?
