In fact, I think python visuals also suitable to do these operations. You only need to use them to plot the graph and try to rotate or change the axis of the display results:

I'd like to suggest you consider using r visual to manually poly these graphs, I don't think the Gantt chart can fully achieve your requirement.

Any chance you can provide the r script that I can use/modify? I know Python, not much of R.
