Gantt chart 2.2.3 parent task

We need to provide a line of text for each gantt bar which is a project name.  Category works for this.  We also use the legend to show the level of impact each project will have. Then we need to use the parent to show the region where the project will happen. However, when we use the parent task and collapse, it's hard to understand why the rolled-up gantt bar shows the color it does. Can you explain?  Thanks

It appears the behavior is always showing the color of the first child, instead of rolling up as you suggest. This is not ideal as sometimes the first task is complete, for example, but other tasks are not. The parent will show complete even though the sub tasks are not.

Hi, I have a simular question, I am using Red, Amber and Green RAG status im my Legend, which works great for the tasks, but when I 'Collapse All' the parent takes on the colour of the first task.  What I want is if one of the tasks are red, then show the project as red, or if a task is amber, then show as amber.  A project or parent should only show as green if all tasks are green.

Hope that makes sense and thanks for any support you can provide.

Robert
