Hi,
I'm having some trouble with the Parent-subtask feature of the Gantt Chart. I've implemented the structure as mentioned in this post: https://community.powerbi.com/t5/Desktop/Gantt-Sub-Tasks-amp-Parent/m-p/358121#M161412
But this doesn't work:
The gantt chart stops ordering by date and the parent feature doesn't show. Thank you

Hi @Anonymous,
Regarding to the issue that parent feature doesn't show in the Gantt Chart, the Product Group replied that the new version of the Gantt Chart will solve the problem and will show like the picture below.
The new version will be available in August. You could pay attention to the new version.

Hi @Anonymous,
For the first issue, you can refer to below steps:
1.I have entered some sample data like the picture below:
2.Create a Gantt Chart and add the related field. Choose the way that you want to sort. Now you can see the correct result.
For the second issue, I have emailed the Product Group to consult this issue, if there is any news, I will reply you in time.

Hi Daniel,
Would it be possible to highlight the chart instead of the table so I can see what went it what field to identify the parent and task, and also send a snapshot of the data so I can see what I need in each of my columns that would be helpful, thanks!
Rgds,
Hannah
I am looking to create a Gantt chart like yours below with a "parent" task which will be the project, and then 5 sub-task which will show the different stages of the project. My dataset looks like the below, what do I need to do to create these sub tasks so I can get all those timelines on for each project in one view?
Thanks,
H
