Freezing Data In Time

 Good morning again, everyone.

One more question, if I may.

Is there a way to freeze some data in Power BI?

In this case, I've calculated some results for Oct. Next month I'll update the dashboard with the new data for Nov, but I'd like the results for Oct to remain, the problem is that the data will all recalculate using the new data for this month and, thus, change the results for Oct.

I could create "Data Jan", "Data Feb"... But in the long term, doing that is going to bite me in the backside, as the files become larger and larger until, finally, the whole dashboard is unusable. Is there a simple way for me to tell Power BI that I want X calculation result kept even after the data is updated?

 Thanks, everyone.

If you have Premium, you could do incremental loads. Otherwise, you would need to create a query for each and after loading turn off data load for that query as you suggest.

I was afraid that would be the solution.

Thank you!
