Formatting of negative values

I have a value of -8000, and divide by 1,000,000, so equal to -0.008. It would not show as -ve value if decimal place = 1.

Would you have any tips on formatting to show negative value in 1 d.p. such as -0.0 / (0.0)?

P1. if D.P = 1, it would show 0.0

P2. if D.P = 2, the –ve sign would show expected

P3. If D.P = 3, if we set D.P. = 3, the –ve sign would show expected

It's expected that the value display in 0.0 when set decimal place as 1, as the -0.0 doesn't have any meaning in math. You can see when you type the data -0.0 via Enter Data, it will change to the 0.0 automatically. I don't think display -0.0 make sense, the results you get are correctly.

well there's no such thing as -0 in math - so we aren't going to find a solution via that route is my guess  .....  I think it must be creative trick-eration....

perhaps establish  "neg" word/text that is dependent on the true value - and get creative in including that in the visual.....
