Format string issue - Number in thousands

Let's say I have a measure

Measure = 123456789

In a table visual, with only that measure, If I use custom format string of:

#,0 I get 123,456,789 (which I expect)

#,0, I get 123,457 (which I expect)

#,0,k or #,0,\k or #,0,"k" I get 123,456,789k (which I do not expect, I hoped for 123,457k) 

Is there a solution to this? or is this a bug?

Hi Shen @v-shex-msft , Thanks for raising the bug, yes seems to be the same issue. I was acutally able to solve my particular issue by putting the comma last i.e #,0k, I cannot solve the issue by Ben Norris (OP in the link you gave) using this work around as having a decimal stops this work around from working.

This worked! Thank you! This is my custom format with the comma after the "K" like you said and it worked successfully:
$#,##0"K",;($#,##0"K",);$0"K"

Yes I have read it, not really helpful for this situation. Actually the format strings work as expected in the DAX function FORMAT, however I was hoping to not format numbers as a string. 

The situation I gave in the original post was simplified, the actual format string I want to use is

#,0,;(#,0,);-

but same problem applies (in this case, the last bracket in the negative scenario stop the number being in thousands)

Frankly, I think this is a bug.

It seem like a custom formatting string issue that I already reported, you can take a look at the following link if it is similar to your scenario.
