Form + DataBase + Power BI direct query or live visualization

Hi community, I've 2 years of experience with the tool and now I'm facing a new challenge.

It's possible to use Power BI to visualice live data which are edited from an external front-user and which are stores in an SQL Server? I would use DirectQuery Mode and most of data transformation will be done in the database. Did somebody tried or achieved it before? I've been looking for similar posts but I didn't found anything.

Hi @Anonymous ,

Have you tried to use the Real-time streaming dataset? We can push the data into Power BI Service after the user edit the front-user in customize application. But using DirectQuery Mode can create more complex data model than Real-time streming dataset.
