Force X Axis to Slant Labels

I am trying to figure out how to force the x-axis labels in my bar charts to format consistently.  I have 2 graphs as shown in the screenshot.  On one of them, the labels are horizontal and cut off with the elipse.  The 2nd one has them formatted as I would like with the full name displayed.  Is there a way to guarantee that the labels slant as shown in the 2nd chart?  The charts are identical in size and I have made sure the x axis settings are exactly the same.Bar Graph X Axis.JPG

Hi @cbhoffm1 ,

Maybe you can create your visual using R.

You can refer to this post: How do I use vertical orientation.

Hi @cbhoffm1 ,

Made some test with similar charts and was not abble to replicate using charts with same size and formatting.

Do one of two things to see if there are some changes on the charts:

  • Make a copy of the second chart and replace the values with the column of the first chart
  • Make a Format Painter copy from chart two to chart one

Looking at the image believe that one of the configuration on your chart is not exactly the same as the other can be X-axis or other definition.

Hi @MFelix ,

Attached is a screenshot of the 1st graph.  The bottom graph is a copy of the top one.  The only difference is the filter for the product.  All other formatting is the same.
