Forcasts and DAX help please

Im in a pinch. I am a new intern at this company and have had no Power Bi experiance prior to last week. My boss is requesting I forcast our data for the rest of 2018-2019. I have no clue what Im doing when it comes to DAX and I dont have the forcast option under my analytics tab( guess they took it out since the videos I have watched were made) What is my best bet for predicting this data? If it is learning DAX, where are the best places to start reading? Thank you for anyone who helps me out in advance !

Also, it would help if you had sample data. Just change your actual numbers and post them so that they can be copied and pasted. Please see this post regarding How to Get Your Question Answered Quickly: https://community.powerbi.com/t5/Community-Blog/How-to-Get-Your-Question-Answered-Quickly/ba-p/38490

Hi @ClayGotte,

Welcom to learn Power BI.

From my knowledge, we could have the forcast line for line chart. For more details, you could see this video and this blog.

For learning Dax in Power BI, you could have a good look at this article DAX basics in Power BI Desktop.

For further, there is a format tool for dax which may help you check if your dax expressions have syntax error,

Best  Regards,

Cherry
