For a Map There is NO Option to Change the Color of the TEXT of a Map Legend

Hello PBI team!
In the Format (Paint Brush) Menu for a Map there is NO Option to change the color of the TEXT of the Map Legend.
Therefore when you use a Black Page Background all you see is the colored dots but the text blends in with the background.
Other visualizations - pie and bar charts, etc have this option!

You can modify the legend color at data color option.

However I was talking about the TEXT Color of the Legend (NOT about the Data Colors) the TEXT next to each Color dot

Again Please note that this option exists for other Visualizations just not for the Maps!

Here's the simple test - 1 table with 3 columns

State - Value - Date

Florida - 250 - 9/1/2016

Texas - 500 - 10/1/2016

California - 250 - 11/1/2016

If you are using a Black Page Background and you can't the change the TEXT color of the Map Legend it will not be seen

Right above the Map in the picture below

The TEXT next to each Data Color is invisible because the TEXT color cannot be changed and it blends in with the background

If you convert the Map to any other Visualization like the bar chart below for example the Option exists!

I hope you don't mind me asking...

I notice in the map above that you have applied colour to your map based on the start date. I would like to apply colour to my map also based on an column I have in my data set.

I am having trouble though, becasue when I drag start_date, or in may case - alert_type - to legend, all it does is create pie charts of equal value onto the map.

Do you have any suggestions?

You need to add something to the Size field!

Then try changing the Legend colors...

The February 2017 Update only addressed the above Issue with the Regular Map!

The option is still missing from the FILLED MAP!
