Since the September 2017 update, I've noticed a new Font Family appearing in Power BI Desktop: wf_standard-font. It appears at the bottom of the list which superficially appears otherwise complete (Arial ... Wingdings). This did not appear previously, and appears to be a raw internal code poking through the usual veneer?
The only place I've noticed it so far is for Card visuals, in the Data label properties. Perhaps it's a coincidence, but I was noticing these were previously set to Arial (rather than the usual default of Segoe UI).
I've seen it in pre-existing PBIX files, and a brand new PBIX.
According to the response from product group in this thread, wf_standard-font should be a newly added font which is actually named properly.
Best Regards,
Herbert
Hi Herbert,
Thanks for your reply, although it left me confused. You seem to be saying this was "by design"?
If that is the case, I suppose my question should be reversed, e.g.
"Why does every other Font Family setting for every other property on the Card visual and on every other visual NOT include wf_standard-font ? "
Regards
Mike
