In Tableau you can fit an entire view of the data into a visual without scrolling, so if i have for example a line graph that spans over a period of time if that view gets too big power bi will enable a scroll bar, i dont want the scroll bar i just want the whole view to be squashed into the visual size.
Is there a way of doing this in Power BI?

Hi @vanessafvg,
By my tests, I'm afraid that we may not achieve your requirement in Power BI currently.
You could submit your idea in Power BI ideas Forum.
The workaround of DAXRichArd may help you.

Hi all,
Is there already any solution for this? I am not able to find any
Hi,
Found this fix:
If you click outside your active visual (in the white space to the side of the dotted frame) and then go to format > page size > custom, you can specify any size for you page effectively zooming in and out on your visual.

Hi, you need to format your visual.
Select then, go to format(in the right panel), X-Axis, and in type change categorical to continuous
If it solve your problem, please mark as solved and give your positive feedback.

@rafaelmpsantos the problem continious is its not displaying the data the way we want it to so that doesn't solve the problem

Hello,
You may have to reduce your granularity on the time series axis (x-axis). For example, I use very long time series data extending 10 to 15 years. If I use a monthly view, it does not fit, to I have to annualize the data in my visual in order to get everything to fit without showing a scroll bar. Not sure if this is the solution you seek but this is my work around.
@DAXRichArd makes sense but unfortunately the issue isn't the years!
