## Fiscal Year for Previous Year

I have a problem. I have a Period Date which has a Year option. It has a month, year, etc hierarchy. There is a problem when having the previous year to date. The FY is from April, Year(XX), to March Year (XX). I need to calculate from YTD for PeriodDT, if current PeriodDT is this month, or current month, for last years NET. SO, if i choose PeriodDT 2019, it will show all NET from last year up to todays month. Attached pbi.

I also need to choose location, to show the FYTD NEt and Previous YTD Net

## Re: Fiscal Year for Previous Year

First of all, create a calendar table

https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/dax/calendar-function-dax

Then try totalytd

https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/dax/totalytd-function-dax

Use period end date in the given formula

```Totalytd year = CALCULATE(TOTALYTD(sum(Sales[Sales Amount]),'Date'[Date Filer],"3/31"))
Totalytd Last year = CALCULATE(TOTALYTD(sum(Sales[Sales Amount]),dateadd('Date'[Date Filer],-1,YEAR),"3/31"))```
