I have a dataset containing data from multiple years. I am wanting to create a chart that allows me to ONLY show data from a cetain FY. My FY calendar goes from April through the next March. So for example, I want my chart to show April 2018 through March 2019 from left to right, and that is it.
Solved! Go to Solution.
@Anonymous - You will need a date table, with the following columns:
1. FY - Define the fiscal year for each date.
2. Month / Year column, such as July 2019.
3. Month Key - This can be an integer in format YYYYMM, and this can be used as the Sort Column for the Month/ Year column column.
If you don't have a date table, you can find many examples in DAX or M (PowerQuery) with a quick search.
Then, you can filter the report to a certain FY and add the Month/Year column to your visual.

Nevermind. I forgot I could just use a slicer.
