Hi All,
Could you please share some insight on the DAX queries on creating FY Calendar (FY, FY Month Year, FY Quarter, etc).
Also, in the 'FY' column, instead of showing just one year, how can we show two? e,g: FY 19/20, FY 20/21, FY 21/22..
Thank you
Cheers,
Kev

@BigKev , How your FY start. Is it the same as the calendar year? Can you elaborate?

@BigKev I created one of these recently, haven't had a chance to put it in the quick measures gallery yet but I attached the PBIX file below my sig. I'll test out a way to get FY 19/20 but looks like a string parsing, subtraction and concatenation so shouldn't be too taxing.

Hi Amit,
My FY start on 01/09 - 31/08 every year.
Could you please provide guidance using the calendarauto(08) function?
Cheers,
Kev
Hi @BigKev ,
As the document says:
An error is returned if the model does not contain any datetime values which are not in calculated columns or calculated tables.
This function is not supported for use in DirectQuery mode when used in calculated columns or row-level security (RLS) rules.
The above methods of customizing the calendar table all work.
Based on your needs, simply change the FY column to this:
FY = IF([MonthNo]<9,[Year]-1&"/"&[Year],[Year]&"/"&[Year]+1)
Best Regards,
Liang
