Filtering slicers with report level filters

Hi!

Main (problematic) part of my report is slicer which is filtered by report level filters.

Step by step:

- I select value in slicer.

- I change report level filter to filter out selected value.

- Slicer is not changed until I deselect beforehand selected value.

Is there any way to filter out selected slicer value?

Additional,

If slicer is set to "Single select" and selected value is filtered out I cannot change it to load new data given by the filter change.

hi, @Sasas

For your case, the best way is use custom visual(from marketplace) instead of built-in slicer.

for example:

Just for reference, chiclet slicers resolve this issue, but introduce few others.

1) Sort on chiclet slicers isn't consistent

2) They do not have "Select All" option.

3) They load slower than built-in slicer

4) They can't be drop downs, only lists.

Just for anyone reading this post to take into consideration.
