Hi,
I am having a power bi model with one master table and two dim tables namely 1) Unique Employee List 2) Date Table(Created by calendar Auto).
My master table contains data about cases with unique case numbers having an employee name as case owner, its created date, and resolved date.
Unique employee List <one to many> Master table <many to one> Date table
1) Employee List relationship
2) Date table to Created Date
Now I want a simple card showing the count of cases and two slicers 1) Unique employee List 2) Date Table.
I want to know for a certain employee what was the case created count for a year or any time period.
The problem I am facing is its not showing the correct number.
I tried with taking the slicer from the master table "created date" and it came out to be right, but I want to have a separate date table.
Please advise!
@Anonymous
What is the measure you are using which delivers unexpected results?
From your description, a simple DISTINCTCOUNT(Master table[Case Id]) should work

@Anonymous
Can you provide a dummy sample dataset?
Also, a depiction of the results you get with both measures and a table visiual with slicers applied
