Filtering from stacked column to matrix is moving the scrollbar

I am clicking on the bar chart and my bottom matrices are updating accordingly.  The only problem I have is that the matrices are scrolling up and down (they each have a sort on them, but that shouldn't matter).  After clicking through a bit, let's say Roger is at the top when filtered.  When I click on another section of the bar chart, if Roger moves down, the scrolling moves down to wherever he ends up.  Anyone else observe this behavior and is there anyway to keep the scrolling at the top when filtering.  ( I removed the sorting in the matrices and it still persists)

@joshcomputer1,

There is no method to prevent the Matrix moving the scrollbar. In my opinion, the scrollbar behavior doesn’t affect that the Matrix visual shows the updated data when you click on the section in the bar chart.

I hear what you are saying, it's just that it shouldn't scroll down each time you are clicking through the bar chart. The focus is not on the top person's name in the matrix so when you click on a different bar, the focus should not cause the matrix to scroll down. Does that make sense? Can I turn the scroll off?

@joshcomputer1,

Based on my test, each time, when you click on different section in the bar chart, Matrix visual scrolls down to search related data, and the scroll bar will stay at the top after the seraching.

There is no method to turn off the scroll unless you enlarge the Matrix visual to display all the data without scroll bar. Or you can use "Edit interactions" feature to turn off cross-filtering between visuals.
