Filtering data from two different tables

Hi ,

I have 3 tables A,B,C and A and B have a relationship connecting them and B and C are also connected. But when I use column in a slicer from table A over to filter table C data, It is not filtering.

I have tried and column from B in the slicer is filtering for both the tables A and B individually.

So the relationship is like  A--many to one-->B<--many to one--C

A can filter B , B can filter A ,C and C can filter B

but A is not able to filter C or vice versa.

Is there anyway to solve this issue?

Thanks.

You can achieve this by changin relationship Cross Filter Direction, change it to Both as shown below.

This is expected behavior, filter contexts only propagate in the one to many direction. There are always solutions, the best one usually being remodeling your data into a Star schema using Power Query. More specific advise would require more details on your data model.
