Filtering and counting one table by a filtered list from another table

So, I'm trying to summarize data from a few tables. The one measure that's giving me some issues is that I need to pull a related team name from a project that is the second step down in a heirarchy. I can get the correct parent projects from the top level of the hierarchy, and I can get the team names associated to those easily. It's taking those project codes from the parents, filtering my raw data to get to the appropriate children, and then getting the team names associated to those children that is causing me some issues.

For the example data included below, the end result would be getting Team C, and a count of 1. The parent project would be Project 1, which is flagged as one of the valid projects, the child Project 3, and the team for Project 3 being Team C.

Project Parent Flag

Project 1 Yes
Project 2 No
Project 3Project 1
Project 4Project 2

Project Team

Project 1Team A
Project 2Team B
Project 3Team C
Project 4Team D
Project 5Team E

Hi, @Anonymous

I don't quite get what you are aiming for. Could perhaps create a mock-up-table showing what you want the end result to be?
