Hello everybody,
I'm new in Power BI and I want to see if this option is possible.
I have a table with an ID, a name and also an ID that depends on the main ID, something like this:
ID Name ID child
AAA test1 XXX
BBB test2 CCC
BBB test2 YYY
CCC test3 EEE
What I would like to do is to be able to apply a drillthrough on this table based on the ID child and when I do it I filter another table (with the same structure as the table above) with the ID = ID child, for example if I apply a drillthrough on the ID child = CCC I want to have the following filtered table on another tab:
ID Name ID Child
CCC test3 EEE
Is it possible to do that? Any help would be appreciated.
Thank you ver much in advance.
José
Hi @davehus,
Thank you very much for your post, I read it but I didn't find if it's possible to filter a column with the values from another column where there is a match. In this case filtering the column ID based on a drilltrough on the ID child from another tab where ID = ID child.
Best regards,
José
