I'm trying to Query some data in Power Query and it's taking so long. I only want to test a single row and it still needs to download 2gb +
How can I trim it down, because this is ridicious
You say you only want to test 1 row? What exactly are you trying to do?
As others have said, the merge you are doing will pull in the whole table.

I think you can create a new calculated table to extract the information you need. The amount of data in the original table is too large, which consumes a lot of time when querying.

@michael_knight yes merged query is going to download the whole table. How big is the 2nd table you are making join with?

The Original table is really big, like 900k rows. The table I'm merging is only 20 or so
Covering the world! 9:00-10:30 AM Sydney, 4:00-5:30 PM CET (Paris/Berlin), 7:00-8:30 PM Mexico City
