Filter the blank values to calculate the MTD Total

hallo Everyone,

I have two values that I need to devide only whenTotal W is not blank.

Below this measure is only showing me that chosen date(inthe slicer) value and not the MTD.

MTD  = CALCULATE((TOTALMTD(DIVIDE([Total W],[G]),'Date'[StartDate].[Date])),FILTER('S','S'[Total W]<>BLANK()))

@TatyDo , prefer to use date table for time intelligence

Try to a measure first and then use it in time intelligence

M1 = CALCULATE(DIVIDE([Total W],[G]),FILTER('S','S'[Total W]<>BLANK()))
MTD = CALCULATE(M1,DATESMTD('Date'[Date]))

Use .date only when you have time in your date.

To get the best of the time intelligence function. Make sure you have a date calendar and it has been marked as the date in model view. Also, join it with the date column of your fact/s. Refer :

HI @TatyDo ,

Can you try modifying your DAX expression to following:

MTD  = CALCULATE(

                                (TOTALMTD(DIVIDE([Total W],[G]),'Date'[StartDate].[Date])),

                                 FILTER(ALLSELECTED('S'[Toyal W]),'S'[Total W]<>BLANK())

                                )

If this helps and resolves the issue, appreciate a Kudos and mark it as a Solution! 🙂

Thanks,

Pragati

Best Regards,
