Filter return nothing when it should return a value

Hi,

I want to return a City related to a Rider ID from two different tables. It works very well for 95 percent of the rows, but for some specific Rider IDs, it is returning a blank cell. The data in the two tables comes from merged excel files with the "Folder" import tool and from a classical ODBC import.

The DAX is as follows:

City =
CALCULATE(
FIRSTNONBLANK('Deliveries DWH'[City],1),
FILTER('Deliveries DWH',
'Deliveries DWH'[rider_id] = 'Consolidated data'[Rider ID]))

I have tried the following to solve the problem:
- Use trim on both matching columns, 'Deliveries DWH'[rider_id] and 'Consolidated data'[Rider ID]
- Format the lookup columns in the excel files to the same format
- Use the lookupvalue dax instead
Really hope someone knows the answer.

Best
