Filter panel Notification of active ones

Hi everyone,

I would love to create a bookmark (or card) that appear if any filter of the filter panel is active. I tried reversing the logic with which you create a "reset filters" button but it does not recognise whether the panel is actively filtered or not. Is there any way? Just a general notification would be super cool.

Thanks for any help! 🙂

Hi @Franc_98

Another problem is that a report designer can lock and/or hide some filters in the filter pane. In this condition, report users do not know these filters existing. I think these pre-defined filters should not be recognized by the notification, right?

So I recommend that you create a "Reset filters" button with bookmark. Do not let report users use the Filter pane. Create slicers for them to filter. You can even hide the Filters pane to make users not see them. Select the eye icon next to FiltersFormat filters in Power BI reports - Power BI | Microsoft Learn
