Filter pane not refreshing properly, not showing all items

Hello,

I have a report that contains a list of around 40k products and the report is getting refreshed every hour. I'm using the filter pane on the right to let the users select the Product ID.

From time to time users call me complaining that they cannot see a product in the filter pane, I open the report and while looking for Product ID 31689 when I look for 31689 nothing appears, but if I enter 3168 and wait a little bit, eventually 31689 will appear if I scroll down but once i type the entire number the filter goes blank and it doesn't show anything anymore. This is one weird issue is happening.

The other issue with the filter pane is that if the user has the report open when the dataset is being refreshed, the filter pane won't show all the Product IDs I have to wait for the dataset to be finished, then Ctrl + F5 the browser and then the IDs will show. Since I'm the dataset owner i know when the dataset finished refreshing but the end users don't know, they just open the report and expect to see all the Product IDs there.

Has anyone had this issue? Is there a known problem with the filter pane and the cache?

How can i make sure that the cache is being cleared for the end user?
