I have a matrix visual with two categories in the row headers.
I would like the main category (in blue) to only show if it has at least two sub categories (the week numbers) below it.
I've done a distinctcount on the blue category&week number but now I need to sum those in this matrix to make it filter only >=2 of these combinations. If the filter works properly, I should only see WABB on this matrix and not WBD.
Please note: I think I'm getting messed up with this because the raw data is actually by date, not just week #, so please take that into account.
Appreciate anyone's help!
Hi, thank you for your reply. I was able to solve this by creating a calculated table with only the needed columns and the measure I created with the filters, then doing a calculated column with the earlier function to sum it up by category. Then I took that count and used it as a filter > 1 on the visual.
Please provide sanitized sample data that fully covers your issue. If you paste the data into a table in your post or use one of the file services it will be easier to work with.
