Filter on field Values

Filter.PNG

Can I put a filter on just one field value and not the rest? I can't include the filter in the field value calculation.

So in this example I want to filter "MoM Customers Additions" with "MoM Customers Additions greater than 0" without filtering the "MoM L Churned Customers" Value beneath it and so on.

Hi @Anonymous,

The filters in the visual will affects all values in the visual.

Depending on your needs, you can create a dimension table to ensure that the filters of two values do not affect each other.

Or you can put two values into two different tables.

@Anonymous

If you filter a value (column) then it removes the entire row (other values/columns) that's the way it works.

If you want to remove a value from the row, what do you do with the rest of the row?  What I think you are asking is to remove a value from a row but leave the rest of the row.  It won't work like that.

Phil

Hi @Anonymous ,

May be you are looking for visual level filters here. Check them.

Also, you haven't shared anything with screesnhots. Try adding more details.

Thanks @Pragati11 I added a pic now, hope this explains my query. I'm not sure if your suggestion is my solution, how can I use visual level filters if so?

Hi @Anonymous ,

I don't see any picture/screenshot attached to your query.

Thanks,

It's there now 🙂

Hi @Anonymous ,

Looking at your picture, I will again go with my first suggestion of using VISUAL LEVEL FILTERS in PBI.

In whatever visual you are displaying these fileds, click on it. Then under fiters pane you will see filters on this visual, where you can set a filter on the value you want. Something like below:
