I want to filter a characteristic value.
I'm not sure which side should I filter them.
I thought if I make it on Power Query, it will extend the refresh time.
Actually I don't know about data side. Does it affect the performance ?

@Anonymous , if you do not need that value for analysis then filter that in power query. Or even create a new column with filtered value.

Hi @Anonymous ,
It depends on your need. You want filter affect the data, visual or formula? If you want filter the data that you don't need, Power Query will be a good choice.
