Filter multiple images using synoptic panel by Okviz

Hi,

I am using Synoptic Panel by okviz to visualize multiple building in multiple areas.

For ex: There is Community A. This has multiple dwellings numbered 1 to 100.

Similary Community B, Community C with multiple dwellings numbered 1 to 100 respectively.

I set each map in such way to show the status of each dwelling.

My issue is that, since each community has dwellings with the same numbers, what is the best way to get around it?

I am using multiple svg images on a single page, so adding a filter on the visual is not an option.

Any direction is greatly appreciated.

Hi airwolf,

You could use slicer to achieve this goal. You could refer to my sample(page 1 and page 2), In Page 1, I combine three categories in the same table , the use slicer to show one of them. In page 2, three categories are in different dataset, and I create a slicer table to connect them and you could sue slicer to filter the same area of three categories.

Best Regards,
Zoe Zhi

Hi Zoe,

Thank you for your response. In my situation, the (if we refer to page 2 of the pbix you attached), rather than having the same svg twice in the same page, I want them together. Like when you add the svg add in on to the report, you click on 'Choose' to choose the svg. Here, instead of choosing one svg, choose two or more. This creates a dropdown for the svg's selected and then it gives you the ability to change between the svg files.

So if the first svg is Community A and second svg is Community B but both have the same sites 1-100, even though each community has its own data, it the data cannot differentiate between community A or B depending on what svg is chosen.

This is what I want to achieve.
