Hi,
For example i have the following table:
period | value1 | value2 | companyid |
m1 | 10 | 9 | 1 |
m1 | 15 | 12 | 2 |
m1 | 16 | 15 | 3 |
m2 | 20 | 21 | 1 |
m2 | 19 | 223 | 2 |
m2 | 56 | 45 | 3 |
m3 | 15 | 16 | 1 |
m3 | 12 | 324 | 2 |
m3 | 53 | 45 | 3 |
m4 | 22 | 1 | |
m4 | 45 | 2 | |
m4 | 23 | 3 |
i want to use slicers to filter value1 and value2 columns indepentently from each other to do some calculations.
What i am doing now is just duplicate the table, add the two columns from the two tables into a matrix and create slicers for both period columns from the two tables. This all seems to work nicely.
But i was just guessing, shouldnt there be a more "cleaner" way to do this?

Hi @Joe_100,
I agree with you. I think you have done the best.

Hi @Joe_100,
You can achieve this by using the "Edit interaction" function. So you don't need to make a copy of the original data.

Dale
Hi,
I don't think that's exactly what i mean. Please see picture below. The slicers should indepently filter their "own" column.
I doubt you can edit interactions on a per column level?
Hi @Joe_100,
I agree with you. I think you have done the best.
