Filter is blank then select maximum value from the list by default

I have single selection filter field with text like:

CaseId

1001

1002

1003

1004

If user does not select any value then by default maximum value should get selected. other wise selected value should get passed.

Kindly help.

Follow below Steps:

Step1: Take CaseID in Slicer visual

Step 2: Sort it by descending order (attached screen shot)

Step 3: Make it single selection by Format property of this visual  (attached screen shot)

But what if I have caseID field in filter pane rather than a slicer.

Sadly, but that's not possible at Fiter Pane level.
