Hey,
I newbie in Power Bi and others, I've got some issue with filtering those data from ms forms while allow mutliple choice:
I collect those data to sharepoint list - text column, and later one using power BI to create a report.
The problem is that I can not filter "example answ" , "example answ2", "example answ3", but only "["example answ","example answ2","example answ3"].
Do you have any ideas or suggestion what to do?
#edit
If I will split those by comma it will create additional column.
Ty for any help 🙂

You can convert your data into a propper data format using Power Query. Can you paste your data in the reply box or Can you
You can save your files in OneDrive, Google Drive, or any other cloud sharing platforms and share the link here.

I want to split the answer column to be able to filter for each Example:
not like :
Id | Number | Answer |
1 | 7 | Example1,Example2,Example3 |
2 | 5 | Example2,Example4 |
I am able to split with column, but then it will create additional column "Answer.1", "Answer.2" etc, and i Will not be able to filter it in one column.
But then if I will split with Row it will duplicate those numbers.
IdNumberAnswerAnswer2 - column.1Answer2 - column.2Answer2 - column.3Answer3 - Row
1 | 5 | Example1,Example2,Example3 | Example1 | Example2 | Example3 | Example1 |
1 | 5 | Example1,Example2,Example3 | Example1 | Example2 | Example3 | Example2 |
1 | 5 | Example1,Example2,Example3 | Example1 | Example2 | Example3 | Example3 |
2 | 7 | Example2,Example4 | Example2 | Example4 | null | Example2 |
2 | 7 | Example2,Example4 | Example2 | Example4 | null | Example4 |
3 | 8 | Example1 | Example1 | null | null | Example1 |
4 | 21 | Example2,Example3 | Example2 | Example3 | null | Example2 |
4 | 21 | Example2,Example3 | Example2 | Example3 | null | Example3 |
What is incorrect, but filtering works fine any suggestion to get those numbers once?
Hope I wrote it clearly.
Ty
@RespinBA
Can you show me your source data and the expected output for just one or two rows?

@RespinBA , you can remove square bracket or relace them with {, then it will become list and you will have option split on the column header (expand icon) on right-click menu
if you remove then you can use split
