Hi,
I would like to know how I can filter a page of my PowerBI report automatically on the last date of my database.
I have created a basic measure MaxDate = MAX(DateColumn)
Then I have tried to drag this measure to my page filter.
But it doesn't work.
Do you know how I can solve this ?
Thanks

Hi, try creating a calculated column
LastDateInData = IF ( Table1[OrderDate] = MAX ( Table1[OrderDate] ), 1, 0 )
and filter when this column is 1.

Victor
Thank you
You cannot use measures at the page filter level. You can use a calculated column at the page level however. I would suggest converting your measure to a calculated column first and see if your DAX translates to fit your issue.

I am using a Power BI dataset, I don't have the ability to create calculated columns, is achieving this possible?
Hi, ive tried this method, but seems its only shows max date on the filter slicer. how to make it also shows all dates, but will only select max date ? (especially when user access the link report, the page will automatically select max date, but still shows old dates)
Thanks it works 😃
I didn't know that only calculated columns could be use as filter
