Hi,
May I know if it is possible to filter a graph wherein all values will be fixed except for one.
Say, the following graph.
I have a filter for Brands within the same hierarchy as Manufacturer. If I'm going to filter the products inside ValC, how do I make it so as to retain the values of ValA, ValB, ValD, and ValE and affect only the display of ValC according to its data? Simply put that all the other Vals will not be affected by the filtering. The problem is whenever I filter the Brands for Manufacturer ValC, all the other Vals will be gone since they do not contain any data from that Brand.
Thank you!
Hi @Anonymous ,
You may create measure using ALLSELECTED and ALL function, then put the new measure onto Values box of Line chart.
Measure1=IF(Table1[Manufacturer]="ValC", CALCULATE(MAX(Table1[Market Share]),FILTER(ALLSELECTED(Table1), Table1[Manufacturer]=MAX(Table1[Manufacturer]))), CALCULATE(MAX(Table1[Market Share]),FILTER(ALL(Table1), Table1[Manufacturer]=MAX(Table1[Manufacturer]))))
If I misunderstood it, could you please share your sample data and desired output screenshots for further analysis? You can also upload sample pbix to OneDrive and post the link here. Do mask sensitive data before uploading.
Best Regards,
Amy

Unfortunately, I get the following error and the Manufacturer data can't be used as well.
Anyone? 😞
