Filter/Slicer to show next 6 months

Hi,

I'm still learning Power BI and ran into an interesting problem. I am looking to display 6 periods of data (periods are based on fiscal calendar) and want to have a season filter dynamically display the rolling 6 months.

The filter I had in mind would be "Season" and would like to show one month prior to the current season and two months after. For example, if I selected Winter, I would show Sept, Oct, Nov, Dec, Jan, and Feb on a corresponding table.

I currently have a table that includes Fiscal Week, Fiscal Month, Fiscal Year; I've created a Fiscal YearMonth column to see if I can try to establish a filter and select the next 6 months out, but I am hitting a mental road block. Anyone have any suggestions on how I can accomplish this dynamic filter?

Thanks!

In this scenario, you need to create a Season-Calendar table, and don't create relatioship to any table. I assume you create Year slicer and Season slicer.

Then you can create a check measure in existing table to tag if dates/months are within selected 6 months based on selection in that "non-related" Season-Calendar Table. Use the check measure in Visual Level Filter.
