Hello,
I'm using the as Timeline visual to produce a gantt chart and want to filter it based on another visulisation (column chart). The column chart shows monthly sales data, and I want it to filter when I click on a particular month for the tasks which were taking place within that month (i.e. if they started/finished or were being undertaken within that month). Any tips on how I can achieve this would be much appreciated.
Many thanks,
Ben
@Anonymous ,
In general, you can try relative filter in the report level filter settings. Please refer to doc below:

Thanks for the reply. I don't think relative date filtering can help though. I would like a way of filtering the gantt chart for a particular time period (e.g. January 2019) and it show me all the tasks which either a) started in January, b) ended in January or c) were being undertaken throughout the entire month of January (so they could have started December 2018 and ended in February 2019). So far I've only managed to have to choose between a) or b) by forming a relationship between the dates (depending on whether the relationship is with the task start or end date). I appreciate your answer but do you have any other ideas in how I can achieve the above?
