Hi,
I am working on a filled map to represent states in France (dpt) by clusters.
The problem is that some cities in France have the same name as states. As you can see, Power BI decided to highlight cities instead of states and my map is pointless this way.
My question is: what can I do to make Power BI understand that all the data is states?
Thanks in advance,
Max
I managed to fix this by creating a new column in my dataset. I concatenated: "France, "& dpt code (first two zip code numbers ).
Then I categorized the new data as County (Click Report tab, select your variable in the Fields pane and then, in the Column Tools tab on the ribbon, select the correct Data Category).
