Filled map : full adress, zip code, city

Hello all,

I've been checking and testing for a few hours now, and I'm not able to have the result I need.
Here what I want on my filled map :
- area designed by zip code
- city in legend

- when selecting an area the legend is selected automaticly, and vice versa

Here what I get :

capture 1.png

When I click on the map, there's no selection done in the legend :

And when I click on the legend, no selection is made on the map

The zip code and city are typed as needed :

I also tried with full adress, short adress, it's worst, nothing appears on the map...

Have I made something wrong? I hope someone will help me to udnerstand how it's working !
Cheers folks !

Hi @Anonymous ,

Based on your description, you can refer to this document:https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/power-bi/visuals/desktop-shape-map

When working with countries or regions, use the three-letter abbreviation to ensure that geocoding works properly in map visualizations. Do not use two-letter abbreviations, as some countries or regions may not be properly recognized.
If you only have two-letter abbreviations, you can refer to the blog:

If the problem persists, you can try to use QGIS map.

Best Regards,
Liang

Hey @Anonymous

Legends don't get sorted or filtered. If you want a list to be filtered when you click on the area on the map simply create a table beside the map with the column you want filtered with the map and it will work as you want it to.

Then if you like, you can hide or remove the legend from the map.

If this works for you please accept it as the solution.
