Hi - I've a dataset (see below) that shows for each country the overall expenditure in several sector as well as the total sum.
On my Power Bi page, I've a filled map shaded by the total spent (sum of all sectors) and I would like to add a slicer with Sector 1, Sector 2, etc. in orded to have the map dynamically re-cloured based on the choice of the sector.
However, I suspect the slicer couldn't work (as sectors are spread in multiple columns) and I cannot find any visual alternatives that works with the map.
Ideas? Thank you in advance!

Hi @Anonymous
You may select Sector 1,2...6 and then click 'Unpivot columns' as below. Then you may use Attribute column as slicer.
Regards.
Just to give a bit more of details: I've just done these four maps using as colour saturation the individual sector or their sum. However, I would prefer having just one map and a slicer by sector. Suggestions?
🙂 Thank you!

Amazing - I didn't know this! Yes it worked but I had to create another table just with the attributes and develop the relations.
Thanks
Giulia
