Hey guys,
I'm faced with the issue of a missing value/color saturation (or kind of similar) field when I'm using the filled map visual. In many tutorial videos, most often from about 2016, there is a field for that.
This issue was already discussed in this community years ago but without helpful output for me:
https://community.powerbi.com/t5/Desktop/No-Value-field-in-Shape-and-Filled-Maps/m-p/57690#M23571
It's exactely the same issue in my reports as in this previous post.
Hopefully someone can help me, at least in telling me that it's not a bug rather a currently missing function for that visual (as sad it is due to the fact that the filled map looses a lot of it's power without the value field).
Thanks already!

You may use Tooltips and take a look at Color saturation on visuals upgraded to use conditional formatting.
