File read issue > how to read this?

Dear community.

I have a set of files that comes from SAP BW - we cannot interface directly - as a broadcast to my outlook every day.

It arrives in my mail as a ZIP, with within a file with xls extension.

However, it is no a true excel file, but rather similar to XML. I found this out when right click > open in notepad.

If i open the file with Excel it will tell me that te file format and extension dont match, but when  i click yes to continue the file opens and i see an excel table. When i save the file then to excel with save as excel, it is much much smaller and opens correctly next time

Unfortunately, i dont want to every day extract all zip files and then open > save as excel everyday for all files. I want to read the file in Power BI. Get file as XML and Excel dont seem to work.

Can anyone please take a look at the file in the link below and advice? I removed all data lines but one to keep te file small and without confidential data.

Hi,

Did anyone manage to handle this issue? I have a similar problem.

Thanks!
