Hi,
I have a table of data produced from a SQL query with the 50 columns ordered in a specific way. However, when imported into Power BI it automatically re-orders the field listing to show the columns by alphabetical order. When I click on Edit Query the actual table is shown in my original column order.
Is there anyway to stop Power BI from automatically sorting the columns by alphabetical order on the Field Listing panel? I would prefer to not have to rename my columns to deal with this issue if at all possible.
Thanks
Hi @nunnc01,
There could be a workaround. Reorder the columns in the Query Editor before the first applying. I would also suggest you vote up this idea or create a new one.
Best Regards,
Dale
Hi @nunnc01,
