Field=MAX(Field)

Hi,

I often see filters like this [Field]=MAX([Field]).

Can someone explain me the action it makes and what it's useful for ?

In the example below, I have created a running total. With the FILTER function, I am iterating the date column one row at a time and compare with the date that is visible outside the filter function using the MAX function. the aggregator function (MAX) in this case helps me grab the date from the visual.
